Fake Tanning and Stretch Marks

stretch marks on belly

Stretch marks are not unhealthy but they are ugly to look at. For us, beauty is equivalent to smooth and blemish-free skin. Unfortunately, we have stretch marks that mar our beauty.

To take care of stretch marks, you can buy products that help reduce their visibility. You can also undergo surgical procedures. The latter are obviously more effective but they cost a lot of money. If you are too impatient to wait for creams to work but are too poor to undergo surgery to remove your stretch marks, you can try a bit of “deception.” One of the ways that you can fool others into thinking that you have skin free of stretch marks is to keep yourself tanned.

Stretch marks are more obvious on those who have light skin. They appear purplish, pink, and white. Those with darker skin colors have less visible stretch marks. So to have a bit of their fortune, you can use tanning to your advantage.

Spray tans and tanning beds are wonderful for hiding stretch marks. For spray tans, make sure that you do not use a color that is too dark compared to your former skin. A subtle brown or tan will work perfectly. If you use tanning beds, make sure that you do not burn your skin to a crisp.
